JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading regional insurer seeking a Personal Injury Protection Claims Representative to join their growing organization. This role is ideal for an insurance professional with PIP claims experience or workers’ compensation and auto claims experience with exposure to medical terminology and injury-related claims handling. The position is instrumental in supporting end-to-end claims handling, including investigation, evaluation of medical records, and collaboration with policyholders, attorneys, and medical providers to drive timely and accurate claim resolution.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle a caseload of Personal injury protection claims from intake through resolution, ensuring timely and accurate claims handling in accordance with company guidelines
• Review and evaluate medical records, bills, and treatment documentation to determine claim validity, coverage, and compensability
• Communicate with policyholders, attorneys, medical providers, and internal teams to gather information, provide updates, and support claim resolution
Qualifications
• 1 years of PIP claims experience OR workers’ compensation and auto claims experience with exposure to medical terminology and injury-related claims handling
• Exposure to or familiarity with Independent Medical Exams (IMEs)
