What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Operator position at JCW Group?
JCW is working with a growing biologics manufacturing facility to place a contract Downstream Manufacturing Operator based in Elwood, KS.
This is a hands-on, GMP production role sitting within an actively scaling site - meaning real visibility, real development opportunity, and genuine conversion potential for the right person. You'll be running downstream purification processes including chromatography, TFF, and clarification, and owning your documentation end to end.
What you'll bring:
- 2 years in a regulated GMP manufacturing environment (biopharma, fill/finish, fermentation, or similar)
- Comfort following complex SOPs and batch records accurately and consistently
- Downstream experience (chromatography, TFF, buffer prep) — preferred but not essential
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating day shift schedule (5am–5:15pm)
- PAPR/PPE compliance in production areas
