What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payment Operations Analyst position at JCW Group?
JCW is working with a growing commercial bank in Connecticut on a hire for a Senior Payment Operations Analyst.
This is a subject matter expert role sitting at the heart of the bank's electronic payments environment — owning wire, ACH, and FX processing, leading complex investigations, and playing a key role in audit readiness, compliance, and process improvement.
What you'll bring:
- 5 years in payment operations within banking or financial services, including domestic, international, and FX wire processing
- Advanced knowledge of SWIFT, ACH, FedLine, and wire transfer systems
- Strong understanding of BSA/AML, OFAC, KYC, and broader consumer regulations
- Experience with reconciliations, fraud and sanctions screening, and UAT for system enhancements
- Nacha AAP and/or APRP certification strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree required
