What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrumentation and Control Engineer position at JCW Group?
We're partnered with a leading private water utility in the Southwest to find a talented I&C Engineer to join their growing automation and controls team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work in a stable, mission-driven environment.
The Role:
You'll support and enhance process control systems, collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams, and take on increasing responsibility depending on your experience level — from assisting with system design (Level I) to leading implementations and managing contractor projects (Level II).
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years (Level I) or 4 years (Level II) of I&C / process control experience
- PLC programming and HMI configuration experience (Allen-Bradley & Wonderware a plus)
- Familiarity with IP networking, SQL databases, and electrical schematics
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel occasionally within the Phoenix metro area
