Lead Financial Advisor
Monterey, California (On-site)
We are seeking a driven Lead Advisor to join a growing wealth management firm in Monterey. This role is designed for professionals with 3–7 years of experience who are ready to own client relationships, present financial plans and investment strategies, and mentor junior staff. As a Lead Advisor, you’ll play an important role in client retention while supporting firm growth initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Manage client relationships by leading all ongoing client meetings.
- Review and present comprehensive financial, tax, estate, and retirement plans.
- Support senior advisors in delivering exceptional service to top-tier clients.
- Mentor and oversee Relationship Managers, including onboarding and coaching.
- Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives.
- Collaborate on investment strategy as part of the investment management committee.
- Identify opportunities within client portfolios and enhance operational efficiency.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field.
- CFP® designation required (or in progress with near-term completion).
- 3–7 years of experience in financial planning, investment management, or wealth advisory.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a client-first mindset.
- Experience mentoring junior staff and collaborating with senior leadership.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
