Overview
A wealth management firm is seeking a Client Service and Operations Associate to support client service, account administration, and daily operating workflows. You will work closely with the leadership team and be responsible for accurate, timely support across the practice.
Responsibilities
- Account administration: Process new account openings, incoming transfers, cashiering requests, wires, journals, checks, EFTs, RMDs, and 529 plan distributions.
- Client service support: Monitor incoming communications and handle required follow-up, including capital calls, custodian alerts, tax payments, RMDs, and securities gifting.
- Operational coverage: Back up other client service and operations associates and assist with time-sensitive requests.
- Project and compliance support: Support audits, document requests, and ad hoc operational projects.
- Document management: Maintain electronic files, client records, PDFs, and Word documents according to firm standards.
Systems and Tools
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Salesforce (contact management, notes, tasks)
- BOX (document filing and archiving)
- Adobe
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 4 years of experience at a wealth management firm
- FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal client communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple objectives independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
Preferred
- Experience with Fidelity Wealthscape, Morningstar Direct, and FactSet
