Job Description:- Greeting participants and providing a high level of customer service.
- Responsible for the preparation of lesson plans, instructing, and evaluating class participants.
- Lead group exercise for participants with a maximum number of 25 participants
- Arrive on time and prepare needed equipment.
- Track attendance and communicate program updates to participants.
- Respond quickly to all emergencies and administer first aid as needed.
- Location: Roeland Park Community Center

Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
Job Requirements:- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must have current CPR.
- This is a year-round position. Criminal History Background Check required.
- Instructors are responsible for tracking class attendance, starting/ending class on time and turning in paperwork in a timely manner.
- Must exhibit initiative in the absence of supervision.
- Have a positive attitude and show professionalism in communications.
- Experience working with older adults and youth, confident managing multiple participants at a time, and the ability to create a fun environment.
- Fitness classes are focused on the movements of Tai Chi and Mixed Martial Arts.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience teaching Tai Chi and Mixed Martial Arts.
