What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at JCJ Business Corp Inc?
Job Summary
Responsible for completion of a range of tasks in support of marketing, business development and firm visibility. Individual will produce general marketing collateral, facilitate Go/No Go meetings, coordinate and complete RFQ/P responses, and coordinate and develop materials to support project interviews. Working in collaboration with JCJ’s Director of Marketing and Director of Business Development, the Specialist will stay abreast of industry trends, will help to keep the firm’s CRM database current and support proactive and strategic marketing and business development processes. This individual will become part of a motivated and dynamic marketing team that strives to leverage collective talents and achieve strategic objectives. Coordinator works directly with Corporate and Market Sector Leaders, Sector Team Members and Practice Champions.
Essential Functions
Market Intelligence and Opportunity Identification
Conduct market research including documenting industry and market trends and maintain intelligence around peer firms.
Identify and qualify appropriate new prospects; research and track potential opportunities.
Maintain updated information in Deltek Vantagepoint database for vendors, contacts, employees and opportunities; support key initiatives that will keep CRM up to date.
Opportunities/Proposals/Interviews
Maintain the client lead, proposal, and information files, including proposal and qualifications boilerplate; perform peer coordinator QA/QC reviews.
Conduct initial background research on specified opportunities; schedule and facilitate Go/No-Go meetings.
Develop comprehensive work plans that outline project scope, delineate submittal parameters; identify selection criteria; maintain oversight on deliverables and deadlines; facilitate development of custom content so proposals are targeted and relevant.
Select support of marketing development of original content for use in marketing boilerplate, collateral and website.
Maintain ongoing relationships with strategic consultants, coordinate outreach and deliverables for all pursuits and interviews.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Director of Risk Management regarding contract review, legal documentation, and the firm’s Graphic Design team who set brand/visual standards.
Develop strategy for new business interviews. Facilitate and develop interview deck content and supporting materials; coordinate logistics and rehearse interview teams.
Business Development and Events
Support and help facilitate content for presentation at industry events; assist and coordinate attendance and event visibility at conferences.
Support Business Development Manager and Sector Leaders in maintaining a disciplined business development process across JCJ’s markets and regions.
Visibility and Communications (assigned on a select basis)
Help maintain JCJ’s website and social media presence.
Other
Collaboration with Director of Marketing and Market Sector leaders to implement strategic initiatives.
Assume special projects and duties as assigned or requested
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant Major or experience in lieu thereof

Knowledge Requirements:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Background and/or interest in Architecture
Ability to process information quickly and make effective decisions
Solid organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Detail orientated with accuracy, keen visual/graphic sensibility
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to instill trust and work with colleagues at different levels
Advanced InDesign, Deltek/Vantagepoint, Microsoft Office Suite skills
Interest or background in architecture but most importantly motivation to work in the industry
Experience:
Overall, 3 to 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry
3 years experience in marketing
2 years experience in a professional services environment preferred.
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
