What are the responsibilities and job description for the HRIS Analyst position at JCFS Chicago?
The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for supporting all aspects of HRIS and interfaces, reporting, assisting the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives related to the use of HRIS applications, systems, and tools. Will work closely with HR, Payroll and Benefit teams to continually enhance and support HRIS systems and processes. General knowledge of all HR disciplines (Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Training & Development Talent, and HR Self-Service) is critical to success in this role.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Manage the organization’s HRIS system UKG serving as the system expert.
- Analyze and recommend enhancements and customizations to HRIS; includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Creates and maintains reference materials and provides on-going support and training for end-users. Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation as well as train employees/Managers on new processes/functionality
- Work with various Internal and External vendors on HR related integrations and interfaces.
- Fulfill ad hoc and recurring data requests from internal customers.
- Continually increase HRIS knowledge through participation in user groups, webcasts, training, etc. to ensure best practices and to keep up on current trends.
- Answers/responses to escalated questions, requests, education and errors in a timely matter.
- Enters all data changes, and audits data on a periodic basis to ensure data integrity.
- Leverage data and HRIS as primary tools for HR dashboard, reporting and analytics.
- Establishes, and maintains end-user access policies and permissions; designs and implements auditing tools and report.
- Partner closely with Payroll, Finance and other department operations leads to transfer data information through all systems.
- Troubleshoot HRIS issues, determining root cause and resolution.
- Represent JCFS and its programs in a positive manner to both internal and external contacts.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years of HRIS experience, UltiPro preferred.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with solid customer service skills.
- Proactive with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to think logically and critically to create innovative solutions to complicated problems
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel
- Ability to focus on multiple competing priorities
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
