Position Requirements & Job Description:

Individual with knowledge of power tools, construction hand tools, safety equipment, abrasives, fasteners, fall protection, chemicals, masonry products, concrete knowledge, erosion control products and other construction related products. Not required, but helpful. Prompt, hardworking, organized, and eager to learn. Able to work on and research with computerized programs and internet. Provide customer service and sales in a professional manner. Handle over the phone sales and customer inquiries. Prepare invoices and quotes for customers. Prepare invoices and quotes for JC Smith Inc., outside sales representatives. Load and unload customer product purchases. Willing and able to operate forklift safely, with proper training. Be mindful of inventory and assist with stocking warehouse/showroom. Work with other store representatives to ensure transfers and orders are being fulfilled correctly. Follow proper protocols for ordering, receiving, and stocking process. Develop and sustain customer relationships. Send data and information to customers as needed/requested. Answer incoming phone calls. Fulfill customer’s business needs in a professional and timely manner.

Physical Requirements: Able to lift 75 lbs. Flexibility and standard mobility Minimum Qualification Standards: High School Graduate preferred Valid NYS Drivers License. All requirements are subject to possible modification.
