Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily tool routes, making transactions, stocking the truck, keeping the truck cleaned and organized, end of day paperwork, invoicing and receiving shipments. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate routes effectively as well as have a pleasant and outgoing personality. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely dedicated routes while maintaining the highest standards of service. This is not an 8-5 job, each day the hours will vary.
Responsibilities
- Execute routes driving efficiently while adhering to schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety
- Stock the truck daily
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Communicate effectively with customers and company owners.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Experience
- Proven experience as a driver or in a similar truck driving role is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools a plus
- Experience with route planning and navigation systems is highly desirable.
- A valid commercial driver’s license (C) is required for this position.
- Be able to make money transactions
