Family Law Associate Attorney

Your role: We are seeking to add an Associate Attorney to our expanding Civil practice.

Your responsibilities:

• Providing representation for clients in court in legal cases
• Guiding and supporting legal assistants and law clerks
• Attending trials and court proceedings
• Managing a regular schedule of hearings and court appearances
• Evaluating and analyzing any evidence that may prove beneficial to your clients
• Regular communication with clients regarding updates to their case
• Direct mediation sessions and offer constructive legal advice

Your experience: At our firm, we measure character along with credentials. But for you to contribute immediately to this role; your experience should include:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of VA
• Detail oriented, adept at both research and critical thinking
• Effective communication, both verbal and written
• Organized, able to effectively manage time and multitask
• Practiced in negotiation, debate, and persuasion techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse clientele, including children and the elderly

Compensation:

• The salary range for this role is $125,000-$150,000/annually, based on experience
• Periodic reviews & subsequent pay raises when goals are met
