What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter position at JBT Power?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Greet customers as they enter the store. Determine what their need is and help them as needed.
- Be familiar with the and the ability to look up both riding mower & push mower parts and other lawn equipment parts using various computer programs or the internet
· Process sales using the company business management system (Ideal) and collect cash or process credit cards as required. Ensure charge customers are authorized and appropriate signatures are collected.
· Process special orders as needed.
· Answer the phone and assist customers as needed.
· Call customers when parts on order are received.
Other job requirements:
- Reliable transportation or other means of getting to shop and ability to be on time when your shift starts.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
· This job requires a combination of standing and walking, and working in both a warehouse and office environment.
- Have excellent visual and auditory skills to be able to clearly communicate with customers.
- Ability to work 1- 2 Saturdays mornings (8-12) per month.'
· Assist with sales of new equipment if no sales person is present.
· Help keep showroom stocked, clean and safe for customers.
· Complete rental paperwork as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
