Job Summary:
The Cleaner/Janitor is responsible for cleaning the assigned area and assisting in the daily cleaning of the building. The Cleaner/Janitor will be working in a department store and will assist in the daily cleaning of all public areas, including but not limited to restrooms and breakroom. The Janitor will be running a scrubbing machine. The department store is located in Stockbridge, Ga.
Morning shift. Work hours are as follows: Tuesday & Thursday- 6:00am-9:00am. Wednesday & Saturday- 6:00am-10:00am. Tuesday & Thursday- 6:00am- 9:00am. Sunday: 8:00am- 11:00am. Off days are Mondays and Fridays. Pay is $13.00 an hour.
Essential Duties:
- Clean assigned area(s) daily including restrooms and breakrooms.
- Clean all equipment used in the performance of duties as directed by the General Manager
- Follow all established safety rules and regulations i.e., proper use of hands-on equipment and safety equipment
- Follow all established company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager and/or Office Manager
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year as a janitor preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
