Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of daiquiris, cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend beverage options tailored to their tastes
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu exciting and innovative
- Handle cash transactions, perform basic math calculations for billing, and ensure accurate cash handling
- Assist with bar management duties including inventory control, restocking supplies, and maintaining bar cleanliness
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a lively atmosphere and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a casual or fine dining setting
- Strong knowledge of cocktail crafting, beverage recipe development, wine selection, and craft beer experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience with food safety practices, food handling, catering, banquet service or retail math is beneficial
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly and energetic attitude
- Knowledge of beverage trends and an enthusiasm for sharing expertise with guests
