Sales Associate – Ticket Sales & Gift Shop Attendant

Overview
Do you enjoy helping people and creating exceptional guest experiences? We're looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Sales Associates – Ticket Sales & Gift Shop Attendants. In this role, you'll be one of the first and last people our guests interact with—assisting them with purchasing tickets, making reservations, answering questions about our attractions, and helping them find the perfect souvenirs and gifts before they leave. If you enjoy working with people in a fun, fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you on our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with a friendly, welcoming, and professional attitude
- Assist guests with purchasing tickets, making reservations, and selecting the best adventure packages for their group
- Answer questions about our Horseback Riding, Zipline, ATV, and Exotic Animal Tours
- Process ticket sales, reservations, merchandise purchases, gift cards, and payments accurately using our reservation and point-of-sale systems
- Check guests in for their scheduled tours and verify required waivers and reservation information
- Assist guests with merchandise selection and provide recommendations on gifts, apparel, snacks, and souvenirs
- Restock merchandise, organize displays, price products, and maintain an attractive, well-stocked gift shop
- Receive and help organize incoming merchandise shipments
- Maintain accurate cash handling and daily balancing procedures
- Keep the ticket sales area and gift shop clean, organized, and inviting
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide information about tours, pricing, reservations, and park activities
- Work closely with tour guides and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations and outstanding guest service
- Promote special events, attraction packages, merchandise, and seasonal promotions
- Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic attitude throughout each shift
Qualifications
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude
- Previous retail, hospitality, ticket sales, cashier, or customer service experience preferred (training provided)
- Strong computer and point-of-sale system skills
- Cash-handling experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed
