Yard Crew Driver

Purpose:  This position exists to stage units and coordinate documentation for proper shipment. 

Essential Functions:

• Ensures all units are moved in a safe, efficient and timely manner supporting production operations.
• Moves units from the production line and delivers to various departments and stages units for shipment assisting dealers with dealer pick up units or rework areas for repairs.
• Monitors exterior of units for damages and quality issues after unit has been stages for shipment. 
• Ensures all units have serial number banners.
• Updates all unit locations.
• Transports materials from side departments to production lines.
• Communicates with dispatchers and drivers as needed for coordination of unit shipments.

Experience / Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Necessary Skills & Abilities:

• Must comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Requires valid driver’s license and ability to operate tractors and tow vehicles to back and park units.  

Work Requirements:

• This position may require sitting and operating tow vehicle in all weather conditions up to 100% of day.
• Required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.  
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays or over-time, as needed).
• A valid driver’s license is required.  

• Regular attendance is required.
