Job Description: We are looking for a Powersports & Boat Detailer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and detailing ATV’s, UTV’s, boats, and other vehicles to a high standard. This includes washing and detailing the interior and exterior of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, and a passion for powersports. They must also be able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Clean and detail vehicles according to dealer specifications.
- Work with General Manager, Sales Manager, and Service Manager.
- Condition new units for customer delivery.
- Recondition used units for resale.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Apply protective treatments to the interior and exterior of vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles for damage or defects.
- Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Driven, self-starter.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with managers and customers.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to assess problems and provide solutions in a timely fashion.
- Strong organizational skills with efficient use of time.
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, twist, and reach to thoroughly detail units.
- Ability to frequently move and position containers and boxes weighing up to 50-70 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
DESIRED
- Knowledge of the powersports industry and ability to detail various powersports vehicles is highly preferred but not required.
SCHEDULE
- Must be able to work a 40-hour work week.
- Must be able to work Saturdays.
- Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-3pm.
