What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Crew Leader Supervisor position at Jay's Lawn Care - NWA?
Lead the Crew. Own the Quality. Grow With Jay’s Lawn Care.
Jay’s Lawn Care is looking for an experienced and motivated Lawn Care Crew Leader to help lead our field operations in Fayetteville and the surrounding Northwest Arkansas area.
We’re raising the standard for professionalism in the lawn care industry. We work with a selective client base, operate with strong systems, and believe the people doing the work should have a meaningful stake in the company’s success.
This position is for someone who is ready to take ownership — not just of the work being performed, but of the crew, the client experience, the equipment, the schedule, and the quality of every property we service.
We offer above-industry pay, performance incentives, profit-sharing opportunities, training, and a clear path for continued advancement.
Our work changes with the seasons. In addition to lawn care and landscaping, Crew Leaders help oversee Christmas light installation, seasonal lighting projects, maintenance, and removal.
Why Work With Us?
- Competitive $20–$25 /hour base pay, depending on experience and responsibility
- Performance and P4P bonuses
- Profit-sharing opportunities
- Clear systems and expectations
- Increasing autonomy and responsibility
- Professional and supportive team culture
- High-caliber training and development
- Opportunities to advance into higher-level leadership and management
- 30–40 hours per week
- Schedule designed to support a healthy work-life balance
- Occasional weekend work during peak season
We’re intentional about building a company where great people can earn more, develop leadership skills, and build a career.
The Role
As a Crew Leader, you are responsible for leading a small field team and ensuring each property is completed safely, efficiently, professionally, and to Jay’s Lawn Care’s quality standards.
You’ll set the pace for the crew, inspect completed work, communicate with clients when needed, maintain equipment and vehicles, and make sure the day’s work gets done correctly.
During the Christmas light season, you’ll also be responsible for leading crews through safe, efficient, and professional seasonal lighting installations.
The Crew Leader is the person the team looks to when something needs to be figured out.
