Ag & Turf Service Technician

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently performs complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment.
• Reports to Service Manager.
• Performs complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.
• Participates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Performs diagnosis and repair in the field as required.
• Maintains current knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment and competitive products.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• One to three years’ experience in repair/maintenance of Ag & Turf vehicles, or its equivalent in education and experience.
• Ability to perform complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures on the machines of the Technician’s specialty.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a multi-department team.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply written instructions.
• Basic PC skills.
• Valid drivers’ license.

Additional Notes

• Must provide own tools.
• Compensation based on individual's experience and skills.

Schedule

• Tuesday-Friday: 9am-6pm
• Saturday: 9am-3pm
