What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Jay Cashman, Inc.?
Civil and Marine Contracting Company is looking for an Office Assistant to join our team at our office in Quincy Massachusetts. The ideal candidates will have a general understanding of office administration, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast- paced, high energy, diverse organization. Our standard office operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. This is a full-time position.
General duties include:
- Answer and direct phone calls; take and relay messages
- Perform general administrative duties such as typing, copying, binding, scanning, data entry, filing etc.
- Run errands for office to grocery stores, restaurants, etc.
- Organize and maintain documents and records, and assist with archive records keeping system
- Coordinate Conference room schedules, assist with set up and break down of meeting and events
- Arrange meetings, teleconferences, web presentation services (WebEx, etc.), and events
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Expense management and data entry
- Complete projects and special assignments
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook, preferred
- Strong interpersonal, written, administrative, and organizational skills
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record (valid driver’s license and maintenance thereafter is required as a condition of employment).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
