Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Operate cash registers accurately, handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and provide correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness of the station, including pumps, store area, and restrooms, ensuring a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or automotive supplies to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
• Conduct product demos when applicable, showcasing new items or promotional offers to encourage purchases.
• Restock shelves, merchandise displays, and stock inventory to ensure availability of popular items.
• Enforce phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone.
• Assist with basic merchandising tasks to create attractive displays that draw customer attention.
• Support grocery store functions by stocking shelves or assisting with retail sales when needed.
• Follow all safety protocols during fueling operations and cash handling procedures to ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with POS systems or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Supervising experience in retail or customer service roles is a plus for leadership opportunities.
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers professionally and courteously.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments is advantageous for understanding merchandising and stocking procedures.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are necessary to create positive interactions at all times.
