JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Junior Business Analyst at Banking client, you will be responsible for collecting and documenting business requirements from stakeholders, analyzing current business processes to identify areas for improvement, and developing and proposing solutions to address business needs. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding, analyze data to support decision-making and identify trends, and create detailed documentation, including business cases, process flows, and functional specifications. Additionally, you will provide insights and recommendations using developed and maintained reports and dashboards in Power BI. Your role will also involve identifying and assessing risks associated with commodity trading processes, collaborating with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to understand their data and analysis needs, and staying updated with the latest developments in commodity markets and economic indicators to support strategic decision-making and market positioning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Institutional Brokerage Analysis
Conduct in-depth analysis of securities trade processing including data mapping and ETL development.
2. Reporting and Visualization Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to present trade analysis in Power BI
Use data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
3.Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
4. Collaboration
Work closely with operations, technology, front office traders and other stakeholders to understand their data and analysis needs.
Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
5. Research and Insights
Conduct research to support strategic decision-making and market positioning.
