Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Square POS.
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, adhering to quality standards.
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while handling cash transactions with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions, upselling products like snacks and beverages to enhance their experience.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during beverage preparation and food service.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
