Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting beverages and food items with enthusiasm.
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments while maintaining precise cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas by following food safety and food handling protocols.
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred; barista experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong skills in retail math, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare beverages with attention to detail while adhering to food safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and effective communication abilities.
