What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account and Cash Operations Coordinator position at Jasurda Search Group?
Company Overview
Our client is a well-established, privately held trust company providing wealth advisory and trust administration services to families and individuals across the region. It's a small, tight-knit team where every person's contribution matters and client relationships are built on precision, discretion, and trust.
Job Overview
We're looking for an Account and Cash Operations Coordinator to manage account and cash-related operational activities across all client accounts. You'll be a key resource for accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of open items, supporting both internal teams and external clients. This is a newly created role, so the team is prioritizing finding the right fit over filling the seat quickly. Ideal candidates bring genuine trust-specific experience, particularly in trust accounting, distributions, and account operations. Candidates coming from a bank or RIA background can be a strong fit if that experience was gained in a smaller environment with real trust exposure. Success in this role depends as much on personality fit as technical skill: this is a small office environment that rewards curiosity, self-sufficiency, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders and external clients
- Oversee trust system account maintenance, cash receipt, and disbursement processing
- Ensure transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with governing documents and internal controls
- Complete account openings and closures, documenting the process using prescribed checklists and obtaining appropriate signoffs
- Monitor the trust system for overdrawn accounts and other cash-related exceptions
- Engage in ongoing professional development, training, and trust system enhancements
- Adhere to OFAC, KYC, AML, and CFT requirements
- Support operational excellence, collaborating across departments to enhance workflows, controls, and system utilization
Qualifications
- 3 of experience in trust operations, cash processing, or account administration
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Steady, stable work history preferred; strong communication skills and experience with trust accounting systems and custodial platforms
What We Offer
- $65,000 - $90,000 base salary
- 3% 401k contribution plus discretionary 5% profit sharing after year one
- Medical, dental, vision insurance, FSA, and LSA
- 3 weeks of accrued vacation sick time holidays
- Hybrid schedule for NH residents (MA residents are required to be 100% onsite due to applicable laws, but are given a $150/monthly stipend)
Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
