Accounts Payable Specialist

If you’ve been stuck in a high-volume AP role where your job costing skills and Yardi knowledge are underused, this is your chance to level up. You’ll step into a visible, hands-on position supporting an established real estate and construction group where projects are active, numbers matter, and your attention to detail actually moves the needle.

You’ll work closely with project teams, vendors and leadership to keep cash flow clean, costs assigned correctly and payables running smoothly. If you enjoy ownership, structure and being the person everyone trusts to “get it right,” you’ll fit in well here.

What You’ll Do

• Own full-cycle AP from invoice entry through payment
• Match invoices to POs, contracts and job codes to ensure proper job costing
• Partner with job sites and project teams to reconcile activity and resolve discrepancies
• Use Yardi daily to code, track and report AP activity
• Flag unusual items, variances or timing issues before they become problems
• Maintain clean, organized vendor records and invoice files
• Open and route daily mail and prepare invoices for processing
• Print, prepare and match checks with supporting documentation
• Jump in to support reception/front desk coverage as needed

What You’ll Need

• At least 3 years of accounts payable experience
• Strong Yardi experience (comfortable in the system, not just a casual user)
• Solid job costing background within real estate, construction or property management
• High accuracy, strong follow-through and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
• Clear, professional communication with both field teams and office staff
