Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Required to prepare various foods depending on menu for residents, patients and staff of Jasper General Hospital
•  Required to follow standardized recipes.
•  Properly operates various kitchen equipment, e.g. mixer, meat slicer, food processor, oven, steamer, gas stove. 
• Cleans equipment and tables as assigned.
• Required to properly store all food items, which includes proper labeling and dating all foods prior to storage.
• Practices proper food safety measures at all times.
• Required to work at a constant pace to ensure that meals are served on time
• Completes all cleaning duties as assigned. 
• Will assist other staff in the dietary department as needed.
•  Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
