What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attendant-Assisted Living position at Jasper General Hospital?
- Assist residents with shower, dressing, oral care, making beds, personal laundry and keeping their rooms tidy.
- Assist residents into and out of beds, chairs, showers, wheelchairs as needed.
- Assist with meals, beauty shop and activities as needed.
- Assist with transportation (golf cart) to PT, Lab, X-ray, or local clinic as directed
- Answer call lights promptly.
- Treat all residents with dignity and respect while helping to assure their comfort
- Assist nurse as directed while always maintaining confidentiality and abiding by HIPPA laws
- Clean and defrost resident's refrigerators as scheduled.
- Document completion of tasks as scheduled
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
