Gas Engine – POD 10 Head Machining

Job Overview: Associates will utilize milling and seat cutting machines. The associate will be using tools such as cutters and various measuring devices. They will use precision measuring equipment to accurately machine parts to match the specs required for specific jobs. This position requires an individual with strong hand dexterity, ability to follow spec sheets, and attention to detail.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
• Overtime available

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx.…8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as gauges, impact, wrenches, and drills.
• Standing: 8-10 hours
• Walking: 1-2 hours
• Sitting: 0 hours
• Stooping (forward leaning): Minute at a time, several times per day.
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Minute at a time, several times per day

Key Job responsibilities:

• Hands-on position
• Reading spec sheets
• Installing work pieces and setting tools for desired cuts
• Observing the operation of machine and check for problems

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting rate $ based on experience.
