What are the responsibilities and job description for the Connect with JASPER Internship: Summer 2026 position at Jasper Engines & Transmissions?
Connect With JASPER, an innovative internship opportunity offered by Jasper Engines and Transmissions, is unlike the typical internship. This partnership is unique to JASPER and encourages students to be creative and collaborate as a team to gain the most from their experience. The program is designed to develop students in three valuable areas of life:
- Professionally: Participation in a lean manufacturing workshop based on continuous improvement and process improvement.
- Personally: Engagement in life skills sessions such as communication, interviewing, team-building, finance/investments, etc.
- Culturally: Completion of a community service project, displaying the impact of philanthropy.
Even if you aren't focused on a major that is connected directly to engineering or manufacturing, no worries – the program is open to any and all fields of study.
JASPER is looking for students who have completed their first year of college (current freshmen) but will also accept applications from students who are currently in their sophomore or junior years. The internship is paid and housing is provided if available. The program is scheduled to begin in the middle of May and conclude in early August.
