Position Summary
This role requires a highly creative, detail-driven content leader responsible for capturing, producing, and managing high-performing social-first content derived from real patient procedures and clinical moments.
The Content and Social Lead operates with a high degree of creative discretion, using independent judgment to execute and evolve EMER’s brand identity through visual storytelling, editing language, pacing, and content systems. Creative discretion in this role is not personal preference, it is the consistent application and advancement of brand standards across all outputs.
This role also owns content pipeline management, patient storytelling cadence, AI-enabled production workflows, and supports business growth through lead-driving content, community engagement, and patient experience alignment.
As performance and output scale, this role may expand into leadership responsibilities and oversight of additional content team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The employee’s creative discretion is used to execute, maintain, and evolve the EMER brand identity across all content.
- Interpret and apply brand standards across filming, editing, pacing, tone, music, graphics, and storytelling structure
- Independently generate content concepts, recurring formats, series, and campaign ideas that strengthen brand recognition and trust
- Make in-the-moment creative decisions during filming (angles, lighting, sequencing, capture prioritization) to maximize usable output
- Ensure consistency across platforms while adapting execution to platform-native formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Identify gaps in content strategy and proactively propose and execute new formats to expand brand equity
2) Content Capture, Filming & Clinical Integration (Execution Ownership Required)
This role is responsible for capturing high-quality, real-time content within a clinical environment.
- Film procedures, patient interactions, and doctor POV content using brand-aligned creative judgment
- Capture before/after transformations, educational moments, and in-procedure storytelling opportunities
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure filming aligns with patient care and does not disrupt operations
- Identify and capture high-value moments in real time without reliance on pre-defined briefs
- Maintain high daily output of usable content across procedures and patient interactions
3) Patient Content Cadence & Story Lifecycle Management (Cadence Ownership Required)
This role owns the continuity and completion of patient content stories.
- Build and manage structured content timelines including pre-procedure, day-of, post-op, and milestone follow-ups
- Follow up with patients to collect additional assets (videos, testimonials, check-ins) to complete story arcs
- Ensure before/after documentation is captured at appropriate intervals
- Maintain continuity across patient journeys to maximize storytelling impact and conversion potential
4) Editing, Packaging & Platform Execution (Quality Control Required)
- Edit content across formats including short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and long-form YouTube
- Apply strong hooks, pacing, captions, and visual storytelling techniques optimized for engagement
- Package content with clear narrative structure and platform-native formatting
- Ensure all content meets brand, quality, and compliance standards prior to publishing
- Adapt editing styles based on performance insights and platform trends
5) AI-Enabled Content Creation, Workflow Optimization & Automation (Required)
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate ideation, scripting, editing, voiceovers, and content repurposing
- Apply creative discretion to ensure all AI-assisted outputs remain aligned with brand standards
- Support batch production workflows, automation systems, and scheduling pipelines
- Build repeatable templates and systems that increase output without sacrificing quality
- Continuously explore and implement new AI tools to improve efficiency and creative output
6) Content Pipeline Management & Output Consistency (Operational Ownership Required)
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of ready-to-post content across platforms

- Capture pre-procedure and documentation photos as required
- Provide front desk support when needed (check-in, greeting, maintaining premium experience)

Qualifications & Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in content production, social media, or video editing
- Strong proficiency in editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- Experience with AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, Canva AI, or similar)
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube content formats
- Ability to identify compelling moments, hooks, and narratives quickly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output clinical environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a patient-facing setting
- Experience in aesthetics, beauty, wellness, or medical content preferred
