Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monthly close procedures, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews
- Manage and review credit card and marketing invoices
- Track accrued liabilities and expense accounts
- Support budget preparation, reporting, and variance analysis
- Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits
- Assist with audit readiness, controls, and process improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with internal controls and company policies
- Support accounting projects under the direction of Senior Accountants
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- 1-2 years of professional accounting experience (required)
- Public accounting and/or audit experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including fixed assets, depreciation, and balance sheet accounts
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Experience working within established internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Prior exposure to ERP systems and audit support preferred
