Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Albuquerque, NM, for a Senior Audit Manager. The Senior Audit Manager will lead financial and compliance audits and ensure the accuracy of financial statements and other reports. Responsibilities include managing engagements and team members, identifying and resolving complex accounting and financial issues, and providing guidance clients and the team. Project and quality control management is essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data and operations to identify trends
- Expertise in Finance and Accounting principles and best practices, GASB experience preferred
- Experience with Financial Audits, including compliance and internal control assessments
- Proven leadership, organizational, and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and manage teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or CFE certification preferred
- Knowledge of governmental and non-profit entities
