Japan Inn is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and help lead our high-volume restaurant team.
This position requires a strong leader who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Position Summary:
The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations, maintain service standards, support team development, and ensure financial performance goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations
- Lead and coach FOH & BOH team members
- Monitor labor costs and sales performance
- Support scheduling and staff coverage
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure outstanding guest service and resolve concerns professionally
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Enforce company policies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
