Controller | Global Accounting Leader

JANUS et Cie, a luxury outdoor furniture company, is seeking  a hands-on Controller to lead our global accounting operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This role partners closely with the CFO and leadership team while managing day-to-day accounting across domestic and international entities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building scalable systems, processes, and teams. This position will be based in Santa Fe Springs, CA. 

Salary Range: $175-$185k DOE

What You’ll Do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and consolidated financial reporting (US GAAP / IFRS)

• Oversee global accounting operations, including multi-currency consolidations, intercompany transactions, and FX management

• Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance across international entities

• Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and management reporting

• Coordinate global tax compliance, including VAT/GST and transfer pricing

• Oversee treasury operations, banking relationships, and working capital metrics

• Drive ERP optimization, automation, and scalable financial processes

• Lead and develop a growing global accounting team

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 10  years of progressive accounting experience (consumer goods preferred)

• Strong expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and multi-entity global consolidations

• Experience managing international entities, audits, and tax compliance (VAT/GST)

• ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, D365, etc.)

• Proven leadership in a high-growth, multi-entity environment
