Position Description
This position is on-site in Sedro-Woolley, Washington State.
Interns are college students who work for Janicki Industries to obtain work experience in varying disciplines. They work during a college break, e.g. summer break for a duration of 10-12 weeks (minimum commitment of 10 weeks).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Assist buyers with creating and maintaining purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and order status
- Gather and compare supplier quotes to support sourcing decisions
- Help resolve issues related to incorrect deliveries, pricing discrepancies, or documentation needs
- Maintain purchasing records, supplier information, and system data
- Assist planners with reviewing material requirements and upcoming production needs
- Support planning activities such as expediting materials, reviewing forecasts, and coordinating with internal teams.
- Completes assignments given by the respective assigned mentor
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of your job

Education/Experience
- Must be currently pursuing a Supply Chain Management bachelors degree
- SAP experience preferred
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must be able to work well independently and under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
- Must possess effective oral and written communication skills in the English language
- Wage range for this role is between $24 - $26 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
