What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Janet, Janet & Suggs, LLC?
Minimum of 5 years plaintiffs’ litigation experience in personal injury to work in our Child Victims’ Act (CVA)/Sexual Abuse Department. Responsibilities and skills should include, but not be limited to: Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimum supervision; detail oriented, excellent organizational skills; able to multi-task and prioritize assignments, and be pro-active in managing case load; excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of e-filing for both federal and state courts (multi-state jurisdictional experience a plus); multi-time zone calendaring, track and manage court and client deadlines; schedule and prepare attorney for case-related meetings, depositions and hearings; drafting pleadings, motions and all documents, including discovery documents; trial preparation and trial support. Strong computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of Filevine or similar case management program helpful.
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
