Janes Surveying Inc is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time Land Surveying CAD Technician to join our team in Palmyra, Missouri. This role involves performing calculations, preparing drawings using research and field data, and working under regular supervision during field surveys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and verify all necessary research for assigned projects.
- Ensure all survey monumentation complies with state statutes and complete corner documents.
- Verify and perform field calculations.
- Execute office calculations and prepare detailed drawings and descriptions for projects.
- Maintain a high standard of safety at all times.
- Interpret and understand survey drawings, legal descriptions, deeds, and other related documents.
- Perform quality control checks on survey drawings.
- Meet schedules and deadlines set by supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Surveying Operations.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
