Floater / Detailer Tech

Position Summary

The Floater/Detailer Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across multiple locations. This role requires flexibility to cover shifts, assist with special cleaning projects, and provide detailed cleaning in high-priority areas. The Floater/Detailer may also be assigned to cover entire buildings or routes when a regular cleaner is absent, ensuring all tasks are completed to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation.
• Detail Cleaning: Focus on deep-clean tasks such as baseboards, windows, vents, fixtures, grout, corners, and other areas requiring extra attention.
• Float Coverage: Fill in for absent cleaners at assigned sites, including full building coverage when needed.
• Special Projects: Assist with carpet cleaning, floor care, and other periodic detailed cleaning tasks.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety policies, use cleaning chemicals properly, and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Customer Service: Represent the company professionally and respond to client or supervisor requests promptly.
• Reporting: Communicate supply needs, equipment issues, or site concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in detail or specialty cleaning.
• Ability to travel between multiple job sites as required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with schedule changes.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, reaching).
