Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced, data-driven Director of Marketing to lead all lead generation, brand strategy, and growth marketing initiatives for our commercial cleaning operations across the Northeast. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing multi-channel demand generation, brand consistency, CRM optimization, and marketing automation. A deep understanding of Zoho CRM, analytics, B2B lead generation, and the commercial cleaning industry is essential.The Director of Marketing will own the marketing funnel—from market research and brand messaging to lead generation, nurturing, and sales alignment—driving measurable revenue growth in a highly competitive region.Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation & Demand CreationDevelop and execute a comprehensive, scalable lead generation strategy aligned with growth goals in Northeast markets.Build a high-volume, high-quality demand engine leveraging inbound and outbound tactics.Plan and optimize multi-channel campaigns including SEO, SEM/PPC, paid social, content marketing, targeted email, direct mail, events, webinars, and trade shows.Create industry-specific campaigns for verticals such as office buildings,industrial facilities, medical offices, education, retail, and property management.Oversee lead qualification, segmentation, scoring, and nurturing to improve conversion rates and sales readiness.Zoho CRM, Automation & IntegrationOversee end-to-end Zoho environment including CRM, Campaigns, Marketing Automation, SalesIQ, Social, Forms, Survey, and Flow.Ensure accurate lead tracking, attribution, lifecycle automation, and integration between marketing and sales teams.Maintain CRM data hygiene, build automated workflows, and optimize customer journeys to improve efficiency and follow-up consistency.Set up lead capture forms, landing pages, and automated journeys for all campaigns.Brand Strategy & Regional MarketingDevelop and maintain consistent brand standards, messaging, look, and tone across all channels.Build brand equity and visibility across Northeast markets while tailoring messaging to regional needs.Collaborate with regional directors and vendors to execute cohesive regional and local campaigns.Review, approve, and guide all marketing content, including social media, website updates, sales collateral, and creative assets.Develop marketing toolkits, playbooks, and templates to support local teams or franchisees, ensuring compliance and performance consistency.Content Development & Campaign ExecutionOversee creation of compelling content such as blogs, white papers, case studies, videos, brochures, and email sequences.Lead event/webinar strategy and execution to generate and nurture leads.Drive targeted content initiatives to attract, educate, and convert high-value prospects.Marketing Analytics & Performance ReportingTrack, analyze, and report KPIs including CPL, CAC, ROI, conversion rates, campaign performance, lead velocity, and MQL-to-SQL progression.Build dashboards using Zoho Analytics (or similar tools) and deliver insights to leadership.Conduct A/B testing on messaging, landing pages, workflows, creative assets, and emails to improve performance.Use consumer insights, market research, and competitive analysis to refine strategies and uncover opportunities.Cross-Functional Leadership & CollaborationWork closely with leadership to ensure alignment on lead quality, pipeline targets, and sales enablement needs.Work closely with Inside Sales team to coordinate campaigns.Manage relationships with agencies, freelancers, vendors, and platform partners.Develop and present monthly business reviews, campaign results, and strategic recommendations to leadership.Budget & Resource ManagementManage the marketing budget with a focus on ROI optimization.Allocate spend across channels and campaigns based on performance data and growth priorities.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s a plus).7–10 years of marketing leadership experience, with a heavy emphasis on lead generation and B2B demand creation.Proven success driving measurable growth through multi-channel marketing programs.Deep expertise in Zoho CRM and Zoho marketing automation tools.Strong analytical, strategic, and data-driven decision-making skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.Experience in facility services, commercial cleaning, franchising, or related industries strongly preferred.Skilled in SEO, Google Ads, Meta & LinkedIn Ads, email marketing, content strategy, and campaign optimization.Understanding of recurring B2B services buying cycles, RFP processes, and facilities management.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred QualificationsExperience operating across Northeast metro regions: NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, NJ, CT, PA, RI, etc.Experience mentoring and building teams.Creative or design skills are a plus.Success Metrics:Growth in marketing-qualified and sales-qualified leads.Improved lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-close rates.Lower cost per lead and improved ROI across campaigns.Increased brand awareness and engagement in Northeast markets. ● Strong sales team feedback on lead quality and support.Company DescriptionJan-Pro is the country's leading provider of commercial cleaning services.
