What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic - PA State Inspection License position at Jamison's Towing & Auto and Truck Repair Shop?
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED (2 years) Automotive & Truck Mechanic with a valid PA Emissions License and proven experience in auto, truck and commercial vehicle repair. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining trucks in compliance with PA safety and emissions regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform auto, truck and commercial vehicle repairs including engine, brake, suspension and electrical systems.
- Conduct PA emissions inspections in accordance with state regulations
- Diagnose and repair emissions-related systems
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative services on autos, trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Accurately document repairs, inspections and compliance records
- Communicate repairs clearing with customers and management.
- Enter parts used, labor hours and repair details into company maintenance/billing software accurately and timely.
- Ensure work orders support proper customer and internal billing.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Emissions Inspector License (required)
- Auto, Truck or commercial vehicle repair experience (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accurate time tracking
- Ability to work independently and meet repair deadlines
- Need own tools
- Required to have a valid PA Drivers license
