As a Youth and Family Outpatient Clinician, you’ll help clients build stability, independence, and meaningful lives through direct therapy, crisis response, and integrated care coordination.
What You’ll Do:
This is a full-time, permanent, on site position. Salary placement is based on relevant work experience and education.
NHSC Loan Repayment Eligible
LCSW, MFT, and LPC candidates may be eligible for the NHSC Loan Repayment Program, offering up to $50,000 in qualifying student loan repayment for a two-year service commitment. Awards are made by HRSA, and clinicians apply directly. Our organization is an NHSC-approved site and provides required employment verification.
All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid driver’s license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier and/or if driving

What You’ll Do:
- Perform clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy
- Support clients with daily living and psychosocial skill-building
- Offer crisis response services and participate in an on-call rotation, as needed
- Collaborate with medical, legal, and housing partners to support client goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
- Ability to practice in Alaska, or the ability to obtain before employment begins
- Active licensure or ability to obtain within 5 years
- Valid driver’s license & CPR/AED certification (we’ll help with the CPR certification if needed)
- A compassionate, team-oriented approach to care
