What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Admin II position at Jamf?
What you'll do at Jamf:
The Enterprise Applications team is responsible for all systems and data visibility about our customers. The Salesforce Admin II is an integral member of the Enterprise Applications team, assessing the business needs and providing technical delivery to our overall system needs. They help administer the Salesforce platform to support all business units at Jamf. They are responsible for improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform by gathering requirements, implementing custom and out-of-the-box functionality, designing scalable best practice solutions, and helping implement the product roadmap. As part of an Agile Scrum team, the Salesforce Admin II will work closely to refine and prioritize user stories, and work with a team of Salesforce Admins and other technical contributors to support feature delivery and ultimately help Jamf achieve it's business objectives. They will be a subject matter expert for specified areas of the platform, working closely with business stakeholders drive system efficiencies and standardization across the platform.
This role is offered as remote in Minneapolis, MN or Eau Claire, WI. You may be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. We are only able to accept applications for those based in one of these communities.
What you can expect to do in this role:
- Maintain a working knowledge of core Jamf business and GTM systems primarily Salesforce.com
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and improvement opportunities, translate priorities into a consumable Agile backlog and execute on solution delivery
- Manage and track features, epics, and user stories (including acceptance criteria) in organizational tools (such as Jira)
- Applies the Agile Scrum Framework and DevOps best practices
- Follow Salesforce best practices and organizational development and deployment processes
- Contributing to the management of development, implementation, and communication to business stakeholders, and other scrum teams
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor other specialists; drive enforcement of standards, tools, and methodologies
- Work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams, leveraging a technical understanding of existing systems and business processes
- Partner with solution architects and business analysts to support requirements refinement and design of technical solutions
- Proactive system maintenance including security reviews, release updates, health check, and optimizer
- Providing ongoing review and creation of technical documentation
- Ability to successfully manage change and navigate positively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the Salesforce.com platform (Required)
- Working knowledge of JIRA or similar project management software (Preferred)
- Experience in the Agile Scrum framework (Preferred)
- Experience evaluating new Salesforce apps and developing plans for their implementation
- Experience gathering inputs and synthesizing into business outcomes
- Familiarity with DevOps
- Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work on projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently complete time sensitive tasks
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- Associate Degree (Required)
- BA/BS in Business Administration or related field (Preferred)
- Certified Salesforce Administrator (Preferred)
- A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
