Location: La Crosse, WI — Emplify Health by Gundersen, Cancer Center FTE: Full-Time, Salaried Hours: Clinic hours, Monday–Friday Weekend & Holiday: No weekends or holidays Pay: $124,238.40-$186,347.20 annually, based on years of experience The Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacist plays a vital role in supporting patients receiving complex oncology and hematology therapies. This position partners closely with the existing Heme/Onc Clinical Pharmacist to manage Beacon treatment plans, streamline clinical workflows, and expand pharmacist involvement in direct patient care. The position will take primary responsibility for pediatric hematology and oncology needs while still providing coverage across all patient population areas. What You Will Do Partner with the current Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacist to ensure seamless care and balanced workload. Build and maintain Epic Beacon treatment plans, including formulary updates and administrative tasks. Provide clinical support for patients on oral chemotherapy, including toxicity checks and follow up assessments. Order labs, authorize refills, and manage pharmacotherapy within established protocols Serve as the primary pharmacist for pediatric hematology/oncology patient needs, ensuring timely support and adherence to protocols. Provide cross coverage for adult and pediatric oncology pharmacy services and investigational drug services during vacations and absences. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to optimize treatment outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and follow regulatory and oncology pharmacy best‑practice standards. Contribute to training and professional development for pharmacy residents and students, enhancing exposure to hematology/oncology and research-related pharmacy practice. A stable, salaried position within the Emplify Health Cancer Center What You Will Need Required Wisconsin Pharmacist License Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred. One of the following: 3 years of relevant pharmacy experience (specialty, outpatient/retail, inpatient or outpatient hematology/oncology, , or ambulatory care), or Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Residency (PGY1). Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision‑making skills. Preferred Specialized pharmacist certification (e.g., BCOP or similar) or active progress toward certification.
