This is a part-time opportunity based in beautiful Blyn, WA, offering a consistent and reliable schedule on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Essential Functions

Assist dental providers by setting up proper instruments, greeting/seating patients, and ensuring medical histories and demographics are accurate and up to date.

Provide assistance during exams and procedures, including passing instruments/materials and operating suction/retraction equipment.

Apply coronal polish, take study model impressions, fabricate/cement temporary crowns, and place/remove rubber dams as needed.

Maintain operatories, labs, and sterilization areas in clean, orderly, and sterile conditions. Perform deep cleaning weekly and strictly observe infection control practices.

Triage emergency patients, provide oral hygiene instructions, and perform routine prophylaxis and topical fluoride treatments on adults and children as assigned.

Assist with inventory tracking, supply purchasing, and reception duties as needed.

Adhere to all JST and JFDC policies, including safety standards, PPE requirements, and HIPAA confidentiality.
Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Current BLS Certification.

Basic computer skills with the ability to learn dental scheduling and electronic charting software (Eaglesoft).

Exceptional interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication.

Willingness to receive ongoing continuing education.

Ability to travel locally and regionally as assigned.

Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications

Dental assistant accreditation.

Previous dental experience with a thorough understanding of professional dental clinic operations.

American Indian/Alaska Native preferences apply.
