Interested in brands, events, placemaking, storytelling, and design?We’re looking for a Creative & Marketing Coordinator who wants to influence cutting-edge real estate. The perfect person for this job is happy wearing multiple hats in a given day, is able to respond quickly when needed, and has experience and/or interest in any combination of the following: Event Coordination, Marketing, Graphics, Arts, Interior Design, Architecture, Advertising, Hospitality, and Retail. In this role, you will assist in executing marketing and design strategy for real estate projects in the Northeast portfolio. This entry level position is an integral part of the Creative & Marketing team designed to keep workstreams on track, while providing the opportunity for candidates to learn the fundamentals of project management and learn necessary Creative & Marketing skills. Duties include event ideation and coordination, basic presentation design, social media, project management, market research, as well as providing support to the Creative & Marketing department through general administrative support. In this multifaceted role, no two days are the same.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSMarketing/Social Media:Create and manage social media content and platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linked in)Update digital platforms; website, instagram, facebook, internal digital platformsCreate marketing materials for multiple audiencesProficient understanding of Later, Airtable and all social media platformsAble to create and edit still and video content via social media platforms and professional video editing softwareUnderstand of social media trends and marketing strategiesProofread, revise, and update marketing collateral, advertisements, websites, and social templatesGraphic Design – ability to assist with presentations and make simple edits to collateral, create simple marketing collateral materialsCoordinate sourcing, preparation, production, and distribution of marketing materialsEvents & Design Support:Coordinate sourcing, planning, and procuring for property eventsCoordinating ticket sales and tech for event supportAssist with procuring furniture, framing images, etc.Source materials and selections as directedAssist with the unboxing and movement of furniture, measuring rooms and items, and taking photosMay include managing 3rd party vendors for installation and mountingAssist team with coordination of property amenity/improvement design & installation as neededAssist with wayfinding design and implementationMust be available to work some nights and weekends for events.Admin & General Support:Manage and work between multiple properties Filing system maintenance and organizationCreate forms and templatesExpense reporting, including collecting receipts and managing expense reportsCoordinate travel arrangements and reservationsMeeting support: scheduling, agenda and meeting materials prep, note taking, and meeting follow upSupport team in general administrative tasks: budgeting tracking, project tracking, data tracking and entry, database updates, etc. Perform general office duties and errandsLog, track, and submit all invoicesProject management of graphic requests and other deliverablesPrepare clear and concise reports, correspondence, and other written materialsMay provide direct coordination and communication with outside consultants as well as internal departmentsPerform other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSExperience:Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the jobKnowledge of:Marketing, including traditional and digital marketing techniques, PR, social media marketing are a plusPlacemaking principles, including what creates a sense of place, aesthetics, inclusivity, community involvement, and sustainability, are a plusSkills and Abilities:Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) functional proficiencyFunctional proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Squarespace and MailchimpDesign Skills: Basic understanding of design elements for creating visually appealing deliverablesResearch Skills: Ability to conduct market research, surveys, and brand auditsAnalytical Skills: The ability to analyze market trends, customer preferences, and the effectiveness of marketing strategiesBudgeting Skills: Ability to manage finances, negotiate contracts and work within a specified budget.Creativity and Innovative Thinking: Ability to create intriguing and engaging experiences, with a fresh and imaginative perspectiveStrong Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to a wide variety of stakeholdersUnderstanding of Community Engagement: Ability to create and carry out public engagement strategies to garner community support for projects and initiativesAttention to Detail: Ability to manage small details of a project to ensure accuracy and coherence Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time and work efficientlySelf-Motivation: Ability to communicate, follow up, work well, and meet deadlines under limited supervisionProject Management: Ability to effectively prioritize, plan, manage, and execute multiple projects at once, tracking deadlines and communicating status proactivelyNetworking Talent: Capacity to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, community leaders, vendors, and clientsBonus Skills:Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign- light graphic design capabilitiesProject management software proficiency (Wrike) Photography skillsCopywritingLight video editing or other creative skillsSCHEDULE:Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, travel, overtime, and evening/weekend hours to meet deadlines or attend special eventsRole is split between multiple Northeast properties.
