Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a NEMT Biller located in Phoenix, AZ. The NEMT Biller will be responsible for managing the billing processes, including claim submissions, invoice generation, and accuracy checks. Daily responsibilities will also include maintaining financial records, verifying transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Effective communication and collaboration with clients and team members will also be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Billing Processes, Invoicing, and claim submissions, AHCCCS EDI setup
- Experience with Accounting and Finance procedures
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Proficiency in relevant billing or accounting software is preferred
- Experience in the healthcare or medical transportation industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a bonus
