Role Description
This is a pay per ride, on-site Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver role based in Anthem/Phoenix, AZ. The NEMT Driver will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, ensuring timeliness and reliability. Key daily tasks include vehicle maintenance checks, assisting passengers with mobility challenges, following pre-determined routes, and maintaining accurate records of trips completed. Providing excellent customer service to passengers is essential.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers
- Experience with operating commercial vehicles and trucks
- A clean driving record and knowledge of traffic and safety laws
- Ability to assist passengers with special needs and ensure their comfort and safety or prior careging experiance a bonus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- CPR or first aid certification is a plus
