What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cylinder Fill Plant / Dock Worker position at James Supplies LLC?
James Supplies is seeking a full-time Cylinder Fill Plant / Dock Worker.
Essential duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Fill gas cylinders, high and low pressure, and liquid containers in accordance with safety procedures
- Move cylinders as required by the plant. Will be required to load and unload trucks and pallets.
- Be able to understand basic gauge readings and math skills
- May be required to make local deliveries of gases and hard goods to customers
- Maintain a neat, clean and orderly workplace through proper housekeeping procedures
- Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned
Accuracy and precision in following procedures and regulatory processes is mandatory. Any candidate for this position must be in strong physical condition as the demands of the job are extremely physical in nature. Class B or greater CDL with Haz-mat endorsement would benefit, but not required. Prior gas handling experience would also be helpful, but not required. Normal working hours are M-F, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Applicant must be drug free. Pre-employment test are required. Compensation and benefits are discussed during interviews.
